Bio

Where did you grow up? If not in the US, what brought you here?

I grew up in San Francisco, but was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. My family emigrated to the US in the 1990s, in large part to seek better economic opportunities. For instance, I'll never forget my parents dealing with the hyperinflation that hit ex-Soviet countries after the fall of the USSR — my mom would be paid in boxes of candy or loaves of bread, rather than in currency that would become even more worthless overnight. That experience first sparked my curiosity about money, value, and what makes financial systems trustworthy — questions I've been chasing ever since.

What are you passionate about in your personal life and why?

I'm most passionate about my family. Although I'm an only child, I grew up with a large extended family (immigrant families tend to stick together) and we would all gather for just about every occasion. Big celebratory dinners with tables full of food and drinks were always a given and they gave my cousins and me memories that have stuck for life. Now that I have my own family — I have a toddler son with a daughter on the way — it's incredibly important to me to recreate those experiences so that my kids grow up with the same kind of memories I did.

What gets you excited about coming to work every day?

I love solving puzzles and accounting is chock full of them. There’s concrete logic behind every accounting puzzle and once the pieces fall into place, the big picture presents itself. A typical day at work involves solving at least one puzzle: sometimes it's small and simple, requiring no foresight; other times it’s big and complex, requiring lots of planning. Regardless of size, every puzzle solved is a win — and stringing those wins together is what makes the work feel meaningful.

What do you bring to MVP?

I bring over a decade of institutional finance experience and an ownership mentality. Working across accounting, operations, and reporting taught me what separates firms that scale well from those that don't: clean data, clear processes, robust infrastructure and people who own outcomes end-to-end. At MVP, I'm focused on building that foundation as our firm continues to grow. I love figuring out what the firm needs operationally and rolling up my sleeves to actually build it alongside the team.

How would you describe MVP’s culture?

MVP is a small, close-knit firm with a builder mentality. Andre and Wes set a tone of high trust and high standards — people get real ownership of their work and the autonomy to drive it forward. The team moves quickly, celebrates each other's wins and treats the firm as something we're building together rather than just operating. It's the kind of environment that makes the work feel meaningful.
