Why we invested
In a field as technically demanding and rapidly evolving as quantum computing, experience matters. MVP's conviction in Sygaldry began with Chad Rigetti, a repeat founder who had already taken a quantum computing company from research through the public markets, alongside Idalia Friedson, who brings a decade of experience across the quantum industry. We saw a team returning to a category they knew deeply, this time pursuing an ambitious architecture designed to bring quantum computing closer to practical AI applications.

When Sygaldry flagged a difficult hiring challenge in an investor update, MVP's talent team dug into the market, mapped the unusually limited candidate pool, and built a targeted recruiting plan alongside the company's leadership.
