Bio
Morgan sees communications as part of how a business is built, not an extension of it. With a master’s degree in brand and media strategy, her career began in brand and project management, including creative partnerships with DC, the NBA, Marvel, and Nickelodeon. From there, she moved into public relations, advising founders and executives across venture capital, defense technology, AI, and other emerging technologies on messaging, media strategy, and brand. Today, she leads communications at MVP Ventures, building the function across the firm and shaping how MVP and the companies it backs tell their stories.
The work often begins with more information than anyone knows what to do with. Ideas, opinions, technical complexity, and competing messages all have to become a story people can understand. Morgan focuses on finding that story without flattening what made it interesting in the first place. The same care extends to the language itself, where rhythm and tone matter as much as the information a sentence carries.
Growing up in rural East Tennessee shaped a perspective Morgan has come to value more as her career has evolved. Her path into communications was not an obvious one, and she believes that has made her better at seeing ideas from different angles and trusting her own point of view. That perspective is part of what drew her to MVP and the opportunity to build alongside people with different backgrounds, expertise, and ways of thinking. Outside of work, she is usually reading, traveling with her fiancé, spending time with her two dogs, or riding motorcycles.
